Analysis of the BRYT project
Upon assignment of the Swedish Government, the Swedish National Labour Market Board (AMS) has been managing a number of projects since the 1990s to endeavour to prevent gender segregation within the labour market. The Board has invested around SEK 30 million each year into these preventive activities, but a comprehensive summary of all such projects is unfortunately not available.
Gender School will however make a summary and analyse these projects because we believe it to be important to benefit from experiences already gained. Experiences from several hundred preventive projects are available, but they are currently spread over a considerable number of fragmented sources.
